Sonalysts, Inc. is seeking an entry level Helpdesk Technician with critical thinking and effective communication skills to secure, support, and maintain our corporate IT systems. Our IT team supports a wide variety of IT requirements, and your work will be diverse and exciting as you support our ability to provide exceptional professional services and products for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Space Force, other Department of Defense and U.S. Government and commercial customers.
What You Will Be Doing:
The successful candidate will be a contributor to the IT team and effectively manage multiple priorities to meet required deadlines. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Demonstrating customer service by resolving issues in person, over the phone, or with remote access tools
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate technical support contacts
- Perform inventory and asset management, including receiving and ongoing management of assets (issuing loaners and retiring older assets, etc.)
- Working as part of a team and communicating with end users of all technical ability levels
- Hardware and software updates, refreshes and solutions
- Following process and procedures in place.
- Working on various projects and initiatives as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum one year Information Technology experience OR Associates degree in an Information Technology related field
- Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance*
Preferred, but not required:
- Possess an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance*
- Working knowledge of common software applications and processes
- Working knowledge of basic networking
- Working knowledge of M365
- Understanding of ticketing systems
